Why should I book Funk The Revolution?
Funk The Revolution is a London based function band. They bring the ultimate soul/funk party band experience to any event. They have a 50/50 unique dynamic of both experienced honed musicians with the combined energy of two young players eager to play their hearts out. This brings experience and energy all into one package assuring your guests will be on that dance floor until they drop.
Funk The Revolution go out to parties as a four piece band and as you can hear by their promotional recordings they fill out the other sounds of a Brass section and keyboard player by using backing tracks. It’s never a great thing to substitute the real deal but if you’re on a budget this would save you hundreds of pounds without sacrificing the live experience you will have with this band. They have carefully orchestrated their music and tailored the songs that work well with backing tracks against the songs that work better without. They are a very class act for any event and will deliver some of the best classics in soul/funk as well as contemporary music. They also can offer an acoustic jazz set as a duo or trio that is tailored for the fine dining experience.
How much does it cost to book the band?

How loud will the band be?
We always make sure that our volume levels are such that people at your event can still converse, but really feel as though they are at a gig when they're on the dance floor. Being a soul/funk based function band our general volume is moderately loud. If your chosen venue has a DB limiter, please discuss this with your agent at the time of your enquiry - There’s every chance that we (or one of our fellow agency bands) have performed at the venue before, but if not, it’s worth discussing to make sure that the performance you will receive from us will not be compromised. However, if your venues decibel limit is restrictively low, we are more than happy to provide an acoustic style version of our performance in which, while obviously being quieter, will still provide you with music that’s great to dance to.
What is the band power requirement?
We usually request 2 double 13 amp supplies near to the stage area. We prefer to run lights from one power source and audio equipment from another to reduce the risk of noise interference.
